Services Offered

Two ways to create — choose one, or combine both for larger groups.

Wheel Throwing

Classic, hands-on pottery on the wheel. Guests shape their own bowl, cup, or vessel with guided, one-on-one instruction from start to finish.

Handbuilding

No wheel required. Guests build their piece entirely by hand using pinch, coil, and slab techniques — great for detailed or sculptural designs.

More Mud

Optional add-ons to make your event even more memorable.

Henna

Add a henna artist to your event — a fun extra for guests while they wait their turn at the wheel or between pieces.

$15 for 6 people and up

Handbuilding & Wheel Throwing

For parties of six guests or more, everyone experiences both techniques — and leaves with two finished pieces instead of one.

1

Group Splits in Two

Half the group starts at the pottery wheel, while the other half begins handbuilding.

2

One Hour In, You Switch

Once each group finishes their first piece, wheel-throwers move to handbuilding and handbuilders take the wheel.

3

Two Pieces, One Session

Every guest leaves having tried both techniques, with two finished, kiln-fired pieces to keep.

Available for parties of 6+ guests, with room for up to 15 when combining wheel throwing and handbuilding. Smaller groups are welcome too — we'll tailor the format to your event.

Event Timeline

Here's what a typical 2-group party looks like from arrival to wrap-up — using a 1:00 PM start as an example.

1:00 PM

We Arrive & Set Up

We arrive and get everything ready — wheels, tools, and materials — in about 30 minutes. Nothing for you to prepare.

1:30 PM

Groups Begin

Group splits in two: the first six guests get on the pottery wheels, while the second six begin handbuilding a project. Each group works for about an hour.

2:30 PM

Groups Switch

The two groups trade places — wheel-throwers move to handbuilding, and handbuilders take the wheel — for another hour, so everyone tries both.

3:30 PM

Glazing

Each guest glazes their own piece(s), which takes about 30–45 minutes.

~4:00–4:15 PM

Clean Up & Pack Up

We handle all the cleanup and pack up our equipment — about 45 minutes — leaving your space just as we found it.

~2 Weeks Later

Finished Pieces Ready

After kiln firing, your finished pottery is ready — available for local delivery or shipping, based on distance.

This example is based on a 1:00 PM arrival with two groups of six. Start time, group size, and pacing are tailored to your event.
